I can’t pack cord. Never could. One of the many advantages the CEREC Omnicam has over its predecessors is the ability to clearly visualize your preparation’s margins. For healthy patients with margins at or just below the gingival crest, there is no need for retraction. No cord, lasers, electrosurgery or gels needed. It is so easy to see where tooth structure ends and soft tissue begins. I love being able to put down my handpiece and immediately begin imaging. With Omnicam and the CEREC Chairside 4.3 software, dentistry is so easy, predictable and enjoyable.
