Many are familiar with the Sirona Custom Abutment solution using scan bodies, precision titanium bases, and abutment meso blocks. The inLab 4.2 software just extends this capability to bridges. The process is similar to a single tooth in that you first image the scanbodies.
The software then allows you to create a parallel restoration axis, ensuring that your custom abutments will draw perfectly. Even if the implants are not perfectly parallel, the software allows you to correct for minor angulation issues.
After designing a full contour bridge, you then have the capability to split the bridge into 2 parallel custom abutments and a bridge veneering structure.
