You can see the preoperative photo taken on a patient who we are preparing to restore with new veneers. The photo looks great but how do you get the black background behind the teeth?
Its actually quite simple- its a device called the contraster. You can buy them for about 30 bucks from http://photomed.net/contrasters.htm or take a piece of black construction paper or foam piece and make your own.
