Sameer Puri D.D.S. When you cement the abutment to a TiBase, you need to hold it together. Ivoclar recommends that you hold the pieces together for 7 minutes with the Multilink Hybrid Abutment cement. Obviously holding it by hand is difficult for that long. Many users have suggested workarounds from pliers to vice grips. Here is my contribution. A hemostat with a rubber band around the handle to apply just a bit of soft pressure to hold the pieces together. Glue it together and set it aside until the cement sets.
