Here's a pretty straightforward case where CEREC helped create a vastly superior result when compared to the previous restoration. This patient reported an implant, abutment, and crown having been placed almost 10 years ago. She complained of a foul odor coming from the area and stated that she was constantly digging food out of the pocket around the crown.

Cement sepsis is a huge problem and we're lucky to have such a great technology to offer a better solution!


the screw channel for abutment or abutment crown is very often narrower than the screw itself rendering it difficult to place. So i have to increase the diameter of the screw channel by grinding the porcelain.
