Course Description

This is another case where we evaluate the preparations on an onlay and a quad of inlays. Proper preparation techniques are discussed as well as how to esthetically blend in a buccal margin.

Hi Baron-
If you go into the "resources" tab, you an actually download the case and play with it. As you mentioned... there is some blood impinging on the margins on the second case. If you download and draw the margin, you can do a "decent" job marginating in high intensity (grey scale) mode.
Ideally though, you would like to have a new image with better separation. I would avoid using edit model in this scenario.
Once Sam had the margin in place, it "appeared" like there was better separation then there actually was.

One the second case presented here, the tissue or blood interproximaly did not show in the design phase. How do you account for that without retaking images? Edit the model?
