Firing CEREC e.max 3 Unit Bridges

Since the release of Ivoclar’s e.max-CAD B32 bridge block, there have been a lot of questions regarding the processing of the ceramic after milling.

  1. Clean appropriately with alcohol/soap and water/steam/ultrasonic.
  2. Fill abutments with the pegging material of your choice. In this case Wonderpeg was used.
  3. Create a pillow of pegging material directly on the firing tray and seat the bridge on the pillow.
  4. Glaze and characterize as desired.
  5. Fire on P1 if using the Programat oven.
  6. After firing, you will need to simply polish the tissue side of the pontic.

Good, thanks!

I made my first bridge, very similar to this one. Fired as described on P1, supported with pegging material. Bridge was very tight, would not seat. Really felt like the whole thing shrunk. Any ideas?

Could be lots of reasons. You need to post the rst.
